How To Make Yourself Irresistible
By: Cucan Publications

Have you always wondered why do kids resist their parents even though they have their interests at heart? This happens to me when I am young. I find that I am attracted towards my friends and buddies in schools than towards my mentors, teachers or even my parents.

I never really explored the reasons why, until recently, and this important realization can be applied to any kinds of human relationships. Years of being in a relationship with my partner has made me realized that more often than not, my reality is not HIS reality (the same goes to men). Conflicts, arguments, quarrrels, misunderstanding and disagreements often come about if neither party in a couple relationship understand this. Now, what can we do to understand, or even, to get into his/her reality?

Everyone of us, whether you are a man or woman, need to feel genuinely needed and understood. I find that I can create a better relationship with my mate just by creating a sense that he (she) is being understood, by echoing his thoughts back to him! Yes, you may disagree with your partner's beliefs and thoughts; but always remember this. His/Her reality is NOT your reality at times, many times! When my partner learn I think just like he does he feel validated and soon attraction and connection begin to develop.

Kids are very often attracted to particular groups of friends; and these are not just any kinds of friends. These are friends who truly understand them and accept them for who they are. They satisfied their most precious need, the need to feel validated and needed. If you realize your kids, or even your partner, has changed or transformed drastically in his lifestyle or even his character, loves to hang out with some particular groups of people, or even suddenly abandoning a particular way of life for another, the reason is often nothing more than the person finally able to find someone who will notice him (her) and accept him for who he is.

This need is what made us feel normal, and human.

If you have problems making a connection with your partner, or even reading his/her mind, understand that you don't have to be a psychic for doing so. The secret is to learn the art of paying highly focused attention to the other person. This is the secret shared by many writers or speakers who often have to speak on stage to large groups of audience. They are able to create the sense that their audience is understood by echoing their thoughts back to them!

I once attended a seminar where the speaker shared with us his secret of success on stage and how he had been able to capture the attention of so many people quickly and certainly. He said, "Ask them what they want you to tell them; and tell them what they have told you!"

If you cannot get "into" their reality (and get this, it is not necessary to do so even though being able to do so is definitely an advantage to you), realize that nothing is more compelling to a person than having someone totally focused on and intently listening to them.

We can't resist the people who are really "into" us! We can't help it. What most of us want is to feel needed and validated! Would you like to know the secret to makeing yourself resistible to your lover, your partner, or even to your friends, in all your personal relationships? Here is your tip for the day. People need to feel genuinely needed and understood.

Dating today is the order of the day for teens and adults alike. It has become a crucial part of existence. The latest in vogue is online dating where one can have fun and socialize at the same time. The use of teen online dating has far surpassed the popularity of adult online dating since it is the teenagers that adopt the latest craze most easily.

Teen online dating can be amusing and playful and it can help in more ways than one. Not only does it help in building self-confidence but also allows a teenager to learn interpersonal skills. It enables a young maturing mind to learn to be assertive and compromising and learn to share and demand as well.

Essentially, teenagers indulge in teen online dating in the search for Mr. or Ms. Right. It is a perfect forum to understand the kind of person one would like to spend some time with before actually physically doing so. It teaches the unfledged how to spread their wings and take the leap into romantic relationships.

But teen online dating can get extremely confusing for the uninitiated. The fragile mind of a teenager needs some guidance before stepping into the world of online dating to ensure that the experience is one of fun and frolic and does not turn into a series of thwarting episodes. Therefore, it is essential that parents of teenagers guide them through this process after understanding the dos and don’ts of this phenomenon so that their youngsters understand the ways and means of handling diverse experiences on the Internet dating sites.

Teen online dating is convenient and allows you to search for individuals who may have similar tastes and initiate a dialogue with them. It provides a platform where one can exchange thoughts and ideas without letting biases hinder the free flow of conversation. This is basically possible due to the fact that the online dating platforms allow you to conceal your identity. Teen online dating also enables you to chance upon people whom you may never have met otherwise. In a world where physical beauty is given so much importance, it has the unique capability of allowing free exchange of opinions without getting the teen conscious about how he or she looks.

The one disadvantage that this service has is that it does not allow for those who are dating to ascertain the level of chemistry, which they may have.

If one looks around, one can find countless teen online dating services that provide the facilities and protection that you need for dating online. Dating Tips: The First Impression Matters
By Rick Valens

Ever had a love at first sight encounter? Totally captured by her beauty the first time you laid your eyes on her? Having sleepless nights thinking about her? That first impression she left with you was sure astonishing wasn’t it?

The first impression you give plays a very important part in the blooming of a love relationship. It determines the ever possibility of a development of the relationship. Would you fall in love with someone whom you don’t have any good impression at all? The chances are, if you have a bad impression of someone, it’s very likely that the more you see him the more you will dislike him. It’s very hard to change one’s thinking once it is set in his mind. It will need a lot of time and regular communication between both to break down that wall. So even if you can’t impress that special someone the very first time, make sure you will not displease him or her. You can still work on your chances at a later time.

How can you impress someone? Well, you may be the kindest soul, so helpful; caring, fun loving and easy going whom all your friends enjoy your presence. But does that someone know? No, if there are no chances of both of you going out together, going out on a date, there’s no way he or she will ever get to know you more. You have got to make that someone notice you, make your presence be known. You got to first impress him or her!

Very naturally, humans tend to make judgment of another just by their very first acquaintance with the person. Decisions were made almost at that very moment of your job interview? Your physical appearance, the way you talk, all your little behaviors you show, will decide what kind of a person you are to them and this impression is going to be set in their mind unless some thing or someone changes it.

So what can you do? What should you take note of? First of all, your appearance of course. Your physical appearance is the very the first thing that catches a person’s eyes. Put on your very best look! But do however dress appropriately. If you are going for a ball, you will not go in your jeans and tee and if you are going for a barbeque, for heaven’s sake, please don’t go in your tuxedo or suits. Other than your physical appearance, you have to also be careful with all your little actions, the way you speak, the way you eat, the way you look at others…

Look for chance to strike a conversation with that someone. If not a personal one, a little group conversation will be good. Try to participate in the conversation, getting his or her attention. Look into the eyes, drop him or her a nice warm smile. Let that someone know that his or her presence is felt, being felt by you. A smile with the right eye contact at the right timing can sometimes works wonder than to words. But please, keep the conversations entertaining. If you are bad with jokes, don’t try it! Don’t risk making yourself a clown.

For guys, show your gentlemanliness, hold the door for her, offer seat to her; offer her a ride home… But remember, be natural, take things slowly, don’t overdo it and scare her off the very first time.

For girls? Well, you always got a little more privilege. Just be sure not to make yourself look unfriendly, Smile… Look him in the eyes and drop him a nice little sweet smile of yours. Do you know that your smile is enough to melt a man’s heart?

Well all these little things count, your little efforts will pay off… Nonetheless, it’s always good to leave people with a good impression of yourself rather than a bad one, isn’t it?

What Questions Should You Be Sure To Ask Your Online Dating E-friend?
By: David Chastain

Online dating can be very entertaining and gratifying.

Since its inception, online dating had continuously brought two people together in spite of the fact that they are worlds apart, with lands and waters separating them. Online dating made bridges to connect people together, enjoy each other, and build dreams together.

However, there are instances wherein people do not just connect to an online dating site and instantly find somebody whom they can share the rest of their lives with.

Online dating is a continuous, systematic process. It entails careful selection of words, pictures, and representations of the person involved in order to get the best results. Moreover, from the time they get to find somebody they think they are compatible with, the process continues as they get to know each other through a series of messages, chats, and other forms of communication.

Along with this comes the careful selection of words used and messages conveyed in order to establish natural, free-flowing, yet enlightening conversations. These are not just mere exchange of words and phrases but more on the verge of getting to know each other.

Hence, it is extremely important to know which questions to ask so that the person can get a better sense of who the other person is on the other side of the virtual screen.

Here are some of the questions that one should ask to his or her online dating e-friend in order to assess the personality and the attitude of the other person. These questions are specifically inclined to provide the necessary information regarding an individual’s personal conviction on certain matters and his or her own preferences on things.

Those who are involved in online dating just have to keep in mind that when asking these questions, they should make it appear very natural so that they will not sound like they are being confrontational.

In addition, those who will ask these questions should be sure that they are also prepared to answer the same.

1. What is the major error that people make when online dating for the first time?

This question will illustrate some idea about how the other person views the opposite sex. In this way, one could get an insight on the attitude of the other person and his or her personal beliefs on some important matters like dating and relationships.

2. What are you looking for in a guy/girl?

With this question, an individual can get hold of the qualities that the other person is looking for in a companion.

However, one should take note of how the other person tries to answer the question. If in the event that he or she replies with the usual “sense of humor,” chances are, the other person has not yet thought about the answer.

3. What is a really successful relationship?

One could get a good view on how the other person values relationship. It would be better to hear the other person provide an answer regarding how the two persons who are involved in the relationship should work together as they grow and have a better sense of personality.

4. What is your view on online dating services?

Through this question, a person will be able to know if the other person had some serious negative experience concerning online dating or the other way around. In addition, through the answers of the other person, one could guess if he or she is still willing to consider online dating or not.

5. Did you fail on your last relationship?

Most people would certainly blame the other person in the relationship. Others blame their selves too much. It would be better to hear some answers like they (the couple) equally share the blame and that it is just time to part ways.

The point in asking these questions is to establish a solid foundation on the kind of personality and attitude the other person has. It is when keeping the communication line open that matters most.

The problem with a lot of people involved in online dating is that most of them do not have any idea how to carry the conversation and how to keep the lines burning. They do not know what questions to ask and how to assess the answers that they get.

Boiled down, asking some reliable questions will give the person an edge over a lot of things. Hence, he or she will be able to assert that when the time comes that they have to meet personally, the concerned person will be ready to face his or her online date.

What Kinds Of Online Dating Services Are Available & Online Dating Site Reviews
By: David Chastain

Nowadays, there are so many types of online dating services to choose from that it's so easy to get confused about the various sites that are offering to hook up singles with a date. But those who are serious about finding their potential soulmates should take the time to find out about the various services that are being offered online. This way, they can choose exactly the type of service that works for them. This will increase their chances of finding their potential soulmates.

One of the most popular services available are online dating services that matches subscriber's profiles, with other members with the same interests and specifications.

Here's a run down of some of the more popular online dating services. These are some of the most highly rated online dating services that can be found on the internet:

Yahoo Personals- For a monthly subscription payment of $7.50-$19.95, (they offer premium services). Members can create their own profiles with pictures included, that they can then share with this online community of date seekers. Members can also communicate via Email, and IM. Yahoo personals have over 5 million members, and is one of the leading contenders in its field.

Dream Date- Has a membership of over 3.5 million. One of the exciting features that this online dating service offers is that its members can communicate with each other through voice chat. It also has text messaging, IM, and offers Email correspondence. In addition to the normal romance affiliation, it also offers its members an erotica section. All of these services are offered for the cost of $9.00-$24.95 a month.

Perfect Match- Perfect match is an online dating site created by the leading online dating authorities who pioneered http://kiss.com, which is one of the original online dating services. It has over 2 million members. It offers a scientific inspired approach to match making.

LoveAccess.com- This site is a step up from other online dating services because it offers its members the choice to include a video message in their profiles! Members can take advantage of its text messaging, Email, and IM. The best thing of all is that all of these services are offered for free. Individuals who choose to sign up must create a basic profile, and write a couple of essays. First, an essay that describes themselves, and another one that describe the type of person they want to meet. Those who want to avail of their more advanced features can upgrade their account. Upgraded accounts offer: IM that includes a video webcam, initiating conversations, and an access to same sex and straight profiles.

Match.com- This online dating site is a must for all serious online daters! This is top on almost all of the online dating reviewers' list. It has a high success rate of matching people together. This site offers individuals a free trial that allow casual viewers 3 days of full access; but it does require participants to show a credit card before they can avail of the free access. Members are asked to create a profile, and post an add that includes one or two pictures. They can also add video greetings, and look through the profiles using their mobile phones. This site also provides a column that offers relationship advice, dating tips and so much more! This site has over 15 million members in 32 different countries.

Another way for singles to meet people on the internet is to post personals. This is different from a Yahoo personal ad, in a sense that individuals don't need to join a community. These 'personals' appear everywhere. Most online lifestyle magazines have a personals section included in their site. These are just pop-ups that randomly appear on the side of the page. It displays an individual's profile, picture, and contact number. If any person who happens to be browsing through that online magazine happen to be interested, all he or she would have to do is click on the personal. Then they'd find out more information about that person. The majority of mainstream online magazines that can be found on the net carry a 'personals' section on their website.

There are so many online dating services that are available nowadays, that individuals who are looking to partake, now have a choice of selecting just the right online dating service that works for them, and provides for their needs. Thanks to the endless demand of people who embrace this new trend in dating. Now individuals who are looking to find love have a better chance than ever!

How Did Online Dating Become So Popular?
By: Alex Fir

The reason is pretty simple. It is very much the same reason that the internet itself became so popular. The Internet opens up a whole new world of communication and contact. And the reasons for this are given below.

Speed

Try to picture what used to happen earlier in the days when people had to depend on the good ol’ postal system. During those days, a person had to wait for one or two days for a letter to get across to a person who lived in the same state itself. The second person in turn would take one or two days to respond and this letter would take on or two days to get back to the first person.

So in effect, a single correspondence would stretch over a week. But now it’s a totally different story. The time taken for the first letter and the response has been brought to an amazing 2 minutes! Waiting may make the heart grow fonder but e-mail makes two people get close faster!

Privacy

The Internet provides for absolute privacy too. One can carry out communication with another person in the absolute privacy of one’s bedroom or bath room or wherever one chooses to be. There is no fear of eavesdropping (ugh) or over hearing (shudder!) thanks to e-mail and chat facilities.

Options and Opportunities

The Internet provides for other options like voice chat or video conferencing and stops short only of the physical touch. But then who would want to start a relationship by touching right away? You can see a person, talk to a person, and listen to the person’s voice, can you think of a better way to start a date?

Economy

All this and more is possible thanks to the internet and the best part is that all this comes to you for peanuts. All you need is a P.C (who doesn’t have one?) and an Internet Connection (how can anybody live without one) and you are all set. The only thing more you could ask for is a step by step guide to find your dream date…well here it is!

Online Personals: Making First Contact With People Who Interest You
By: Stephanie Constantina

You've signed up at a personals website and you've picked out some profiles of people who look interesting - now what do you do? Firstly, don't be afraid to contact several different people at once. You need to spread your net wide if you are to find the right kind of person to go ahead and date. Obviously, though, when contacting lots of people this has to be manageable. If you cast your net too wide and each person receives just a copy of your initial message, barely customized to suite their individual case, then you are on to a loser. The people you contact will quickly realize that you are not holding an individual conversation with them and lose any interest they had in you, if they ever had any.

The approach described above is a recipe for disaster. The best approach is to concentrate on two or three people in the first instance, trying to get to know each of them on an individual basis. You have to be clear in your mind that there is a real, individual person at the other end of the communication link, a person with individual interests and wants, ways of doing things and seeing the world.

But to go back a stage, how do you choose the people to contact in the first place? The most likely thing to draw your attention at first is a photo of someone you like the look of (this underlines the importance of having a good photo in your own profile). This mirrors what often happens in the real world, where people are initially drawn to each other by physical appearance. Don't let this be the overriding factor, however. It is a starting point. Relationships are built on personalities, not appearances. So, of the people whose photo attracts you, carefully read what they say about themselves. Then ask yourself the following. Is this someone who sounds like the kind of person I might get on well with? Do their interests and approach to life obviously conflict with my own?

Of course it may be hard to answer such questions from only the briefest of profile entries. But assuming that there is nothing obvious that stands out as being a problem, go ahead and make contact with them. But what to say when you make contact? Here we are almost into the online equivalent of chat-up lines. However, to think of initial contact in terms of chat-up lines would be a mistake - chat-up lines are not going to work in this medium.

People are interested in those who take an interest in them. So your initial approach could be a short to medium length message (don't make it too long) saying that you have seen their profile and then picking out some of the things the person says about him or herself that have struck a chord with you. Ask a few casual and non-interrogatory questions. Say why you are interested in what they say. Strike up a conversation. Tell them briefly about yourself and your interests. Leave the way open for them to respond and ask you things.

What to avoid. Do not say you picked them out initially because of their picture. It's probably okay to comment lightly on something in the picture if it's funny or unusual, but you certainly do not want to give the impression that you are only interested in them for how they look. Nor should you be, if you are looking for a potential relationship. If you want to potentially begin a relationship with this person then you are not just interested in their picture anyway! Relationships are formed upon meeting of minds - or they quickly break down and result in break-up.

What else to avoid. Do not turn your initial contact into a glowing description of wonderful you are. You will come across as self-centered. This would put most people off making any further contact. In your efforts to find out more about the other person do not interrogate. If your questions are too personal or too intensive it will sound as if your are giving them the third degree. Be light-hearted (but always genuine and sincere) in your approach. Again there is a balance to be aimed for here. Do not try to do a comedy routine or try to be too much of a 'fun person' that you just become a joke. Too much humour and too many odd comments can be confusing and disconcerting. The other person can't quite grasp where you are coming from or what you want.

During this first and subsequent emails you should aim to be starting a new friendship, not a romantic encounter. Converse as you would with someone who had just started a new job where you work. Like getting to know a new colleague.

Finally, and as always, safety should be paramount when dealing with strangers. Never give out personal information or contact details. Stick to using the email method set up through your dating subscription at least until you have developed a long-term email sequence. Even them proceed cautiously to online chat meetings (still withholding personal details) and only then to phone calls (withholding your number, if you are female). Always take the highest precautions to protect yourself and leave nothing to chance.

To sum up then, it's okay to contact several people through the personals as long as you regard each one as a separate potential friendship, rather than trying to clone yourself across a large number of people, which will only get you into trouble. Your aim is to get to know a few people with the intention of narrowing down to someone to date. When you first contact someone just be yourself, be interested in the other person but not intrusive, express interest in the other's interests and what they say about themselves but don't go over the top. Don't be too funny or confusing. Be genuine and people will respond in the same way, if they are genuine themselves. Never skimp on protecting your personal contact details. ...And that is how to first approach people through the online personals.

Online Dating Tips | Joining Online Dating Services
By: John Tiniakos

Online dating is quickly becoming a large virtual meeting place for singles from all walks of life. Because of today's fast paced society coupled with the growing number of Internet users, online dating offers a logical, convenient and inexpensive way for singles wanting to meet, chat or interact.

More and more singles are finding real relationships, with minimal risk and only a small investment of their time - some of which end up in marriage.

Online Dating Tips:

Begin slowly

- Be on guard when someone seems too good to be true.

- Start communicating by text messaging or email first.

Protect Your Anonymity

- Don't give out your last name, your real email address, home address, workplace, or any identifying info from your profile. Make sure your email signature file doesn't contain any identifying info or is turned off.

- Stop talking to anyone who keeps insisting you give him this info.

- Take as much time as is required to feel comfortable with someone before you give out any personal info.

- Ask as many questions as you like and be sure you are satisfied with the replies.

- Go with your gut instinct; move slowly and wisely; you can be as selective as you like.

- Cautious decisions that are well thought out will usually produce more favorable results in online dating.

- Be careful not to trust someone that is not worthy of your trust. A suitor must earn you trust by being honorable and up-front on a consistent basis.

- Be responsible with your online (dating) behavior and romances. Don't rush into premature intimacy with someone online – take your time.

Although these precautions may sound a little scary, they are not meant to discourage you at all from online dating. However, these measures should be taken to protect your privacy, so that your personal information doesn’t get into the wrong hands.

Ask For A Photograph

- A photo will give you a good idea on the appearance of the person and adds another dimension to your perception of them. Most online dating sites allow you to upload pictures. Seeing several pictures of the subject in different settings and angles is even better. If they aren't willing to provide a picture it means they have something to hide.

Talk On the Telephone

A telephone conversation can show you a person's communication skills and give you a better feel of their character. Be sure, however not to give your phone number to a stranger. Block your caller ID, or use a pay phone initially. Only reveal your telephone number when you feel completely at ease with the person.

By following these precautions you will be better prepared to actually go out on a physical date when you feel you are ready.

Dating Made Easy
By: Terry Ross

With the onset of the internet dating has become a whole new ball game. Gone are the days when you had to get dressed up and head out to the club’s or rely on a heavy social calendar to find that perfect partner. No longer do you have to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger, sit through endless boring evenings with people with who you have nothing in common or get embarrassed when friends and family decide to play match maker.

We are now in an age when dating is so easy once you know how. With so many dating agencies around the possibilities are endless, an almost limitless number of profiles for you to read through in the comfort of your own home and the ability to start dating several steps removed from the starting block armed with almost everything you need to know about a person before you even go on a first date.

No crappy pick up lines, no playing hard to get, just a natural progression from the initial contact that is totally within your control.

The clever ones have taken dating one step further by making good use of all the targeted information that is now available on the net written by people that are most experienced in the field. They have learned everything there is to know about why you should be honest about yourself, avoid playing games and be proud of who you are.

The clever ones in the dating scene have learned how to relax and portray their character full of confidence. They have learned the art of seduction, how to make the best use of body language and how to capture who ever they meet from the very first date and hold on to them for as long as they want to.

None of it is rocket science, it’s all about the level of effort you are prepared to put in to find and keep that perfect partner.

Take for example the first time you meet. Dating is all about first impressions, it doesn’t matter if this particular date is the one for you but at the outset you don’t know and you can never recover that initial meeting. The very first time you set eyes on each other is lost for ever after the first few seconds. You may have met up with several people that really aren’t right for you but never let past experiences make you underestimate the need to make first impressions count.

Most people head out for that first date nervous and concerned about what people might think. They lack the confidence they need to carry it off but at the end of the day you are who you are, does it matter what other people really think. You might not think you have the best looks, you may think you are over weight but then we’ve all now seen what a good makeover can do and how many people do you see out there drawing in the crowd when the main things they have going for them is confidence and the ability to make the most of their assets.

Confidence is all about looking beyond what you don’t like about yourself, focusing on what is good and learning how to make the most of everything you have. Stop seeking approval from others and learn to be who you are. And it has to be said, with internet dating it’s never been so easy, your first meeting is with someone who has already seen your photo, they’ve already learned nearly everything they need to know about you and they still want to meet up. If you’ve been honest in your profile what is there to be nervous about? Just make an effort, show off your assets and go out there and enjoy yourself. If it doesn’t work out so what, they obviously weren’t right for you, you just move on until you find that match made in heaven.
Being In Love Online - A Practical Guide
By: FRIDAY NIGHT HOOK UPS

More and more people these days are finding love online be it due to time constraints, unsociable working hours or simply the death of the community, but one thing is for sure, this is the fastest growing way to meet potential partners, however it has it's pitfalls. Whilst online dating agencies may offer a quick way to meeting these partners, Instant Messaging using programs such as ICQ, MSN, or Odigo offer a lightning speed way of getting very intimate, very quickly. It is so quick because you can be just who you want to be when you are chatting online, no one will see you blush if you say something wrong and most importantly, it allows you to take risks that you would never dream of taking in the real world. The most powerful aspect of this all though is that we paint our own picture in our minds of what the other person is without all those non-verbal cues such as facial expressions and mannerisms that subconsciously in the real world tell us valuable things about the person. In short, with our own beautifully created perception of the person, fall for them. So why do we as intelligent human beings end up falling for people we have never even met before? The answer is simplewe want to be in love, we so want to tell ourselves that the searching for our soul mate is over and with that we picture our lives in a blissful sea of coupledom, sharing our lives together. Sadly it is this haste to end our single lives that can lead to disappointment as quickly as it started.

Meeting Your online love for the first time

Sooner or later the question of actually meeting in person will come up and whilst many people would say it's better to take your time and let the online relationship develop, I strongly believe that the sooner you do it, the better. If you leave it too long, then the impression you have built up of this person will be so deep rooted that your expectations will be far too high and you will be set for disappointment. The other point is if you have been a lot more confident chatting than you would be in real life, how are you going to be able to keep up that persona? You may end up competing with yourself. So assuming that you are both happy with the length of time the romance has been going on for and you decide to meet, what will it be like? It will be quite strange to begin with. You may find that although you have been up most nights until 5 in the morning chatting, you find it hard to talk about things in the flesh. This is perfectly natural as the two of you are having to almost re-learn the parameters of the relationship and digest the visual cues that our mannerisms and facial expressions provide. It will be a nerve racking time as we have to decide there and then if these mannerisms and even physical odours are compatible with us. If you can pass that first test, then things get a lot easier. Do however be very careful if you are traveling abroad to meet someone because if things fail at this first hurdle, then you are totally stuck on your own in a foreign country.

Passed first base, what next?

Having gone through this initial nerve racking first meeting, there is often a huge temptation to revert back to an 'online relationship' as it feels so much more comfortable, but I cannot stress enough to resist that temptation. Slip back into the old online chatting routine and the online persona won't die. The transition from online to offline relationship can be extremely difficult but at all costs, you must get to know the real person from a new offline perspective and kill off any false impressions you may have had about them online. Going back to the online chatting routine may make you feel all warm and fuzzy again, but it can be an unrealistic perception of who the person really is.

In Summary

This all may seem a little negative and in some cases may not even apply, but overall, forewarned is forearmed. There are of course many people who have made a success of their relationship by Instant Messaging and some are even married now but it really pays to be aware of how feelings can be distorted by the shield of an anonymous nickname and a computer monitor.

Special Ways to Say I Love You
by: Jane Karwoski

Can you say “I love you” too many times? Well, if you don’t really mean it of course you can. Or maybe it’s the unimaginative ways we express it that compel us to stop using the words “I love you” altogether.

Love is not just an emotion or feeling. Love is something we must see with our eyes, not just feel with our heart. In order to keep the word love from being common place we must keep it alive with the things we do for that special person in our life. Be it a soft burning, sweet smelling candle lighting a dark room with a delicious dinner for two on the table, and the soothing sound of music in the background; surprising your sweetheart with something romantic is a great way of showing them how much you love and care for them.

Too many times we think it is enough just to say “I love you” to our sweetheart. We are then off the hook to really work at keeping the relationship fresh and exciting. If you are clueless as what would put the “sparkle” back in your relationship, try a few if these simple things:

Give your sweetheart a wonderful back rub, gently telling them to relax and unwind from their day at work or with the kids, etc. While you are both relaxed, this is a good time to tell them you love them and that they mean the world to you. When you take the time to give them your time and attention without expecting something in return, this makes the word “love” more meaningful.

Try arranging a special day for the two of you to do something the other enjoys. Participate in that activity with them, even though it’s not your favorite thing to do and give them all your attention and just cherish the day. The words “I love you” will come freely from both of you at the end of the day. Your sweetheart will see that you mean what you say by giving of yourself.

If you enjoy writing or are creative you might try your hand at composing a short poem or “love” letter to them, or buy a beautiful card or small little gift. Go ahead and leave it under the bed pillow for them, or anywhere they might be surprised to find it.

How about doing some chores or work around the house before your sweetheart asks you to? Maybe even do something more than they would expect you to do. Before their very eyes it is done, without them nagging you. How much you love them couldn’t be more apparent.

When said at the appropriate times, with just the right feeling from your heart, truly the simple words “I love you” can be the most exhilarating sounds your ears will hear.

I Am In Love
By Shubhanyu Jain

I stated above that I am in love. Let us try to verify if it, indeed, is love.

To me, love is a feeling, a sentiment, an emotion, rather than a desire. Love originates from respect; you can not love the person you have no respect for. But the converse may not always hold true. It is possible to respect a person you do not love.

A shopkeeper-buyer relation, for example, is based on respect rather than love.

Love is expressible in various ways. Touch, intimacy, a smile, a look of the eyes, a warm hug, a soft peck, are all ways of expressing love.

Sex is also a means of expressing love; but the youngsters of yolk have today degraded the act of bodily union to the point where it has come to be considered taboo.

Sex is not about passion, passion is a manifestation. Sex is not about having intercourse, intercourse is an intermediary to a stronger bond between the two.

Sex is not about kissing the body everywhere and lip-locking vehemously, sex is more geared towards feeling the body while kissing, feeling the touch of your skin against his/hers while kissing.

There is a method, a design proposed by God in the art of loving. Tit for tat is a universally pervading law. No exceptions.

There is a suggestion, a hint, given by nature as to the art of loving - meeting of two reproduction organs. The effect of the twain meeting can not be reproduced by making any other part meet with any other part. Matching is required.

There is too much apparent sophistication in nature, but sophistication never implies complexity. Nature is simple, so simple that we seem to ignore and ridicule the possible existence of such ideas.

Kiss the lips with the lips, kiss the hands with the hands, kiss the feet with the feet. When you touch the hands of your beloved, there might run through you a spark, a shiver. Touching the neck of your beloved with your hand will never ever produce the same effect.

That is the ideal situation.

Sex is an act of showing to your loved one that you are incomplete without him/her; that the union of your bodies and the soul completes both of you.

Think of it, the power of reproduction, the most essential to existence. Reproduction is not possible without complement. No two men can reproduce, no two women can reproduce.

Think of this on a grander scale; nature works on the principle of cooperation and complement. You can not survive alone; you have to take help and give help incessantly.

This taking and giving help, in other words, the knowledge of the other person's importance in your life brings a degree of modesty in you.

I say I am in love. I am confident of the fact that this is not limerence (the not-so-common word for infatuation) for the lone reason that I have never fantasized making intercourse to the person I love; which, sadly, is the case most boys perceiving their limerence as love, do.

This means that I am truly respecting the person's identity, I am truly admiring the person's ways... I am looking at inward beauty rather than ostensible beauty.

Think this is getting too much? I stop right here, otherwise I could go on and on, and bore you to death.

And I have not, with me, a grave ready to bury you.

Can Everybody Love?
By Vanshika Anand

Most of the youngsters can be found claming that they have fallen in love. They have experienced love. Is loving someone so easy? Can everybody love? Are youngsters really in love?

Love. What is its definition? Love means understanding, caring, forgiving, forgetting. Giving, doing and sacrificing. When we love someone we understand that person.. We give him unconditional care. Even if he hurts us intentionally or unintentionally we keep our ego aside and forgive him. We not only forgive him but forget and proceed ahead. We try to give him whatever he wants without any selfish motive. We wish do everything for him. If there is any need we are ready to sacrifice even our love for him.

Loving someone is not as easy as we think. We have to forget ourselves for loving someone. We have to dedicate ourselves to him. We have to be ready to be with him in every thick and thin. It is the most difficult path. And even the thought of difficulties which we may have to face is enough to make many of us stumble down.

Everybody has the right to love but one or two out of ten are able to do love. Most of the people by mistake think their infatuation is their love. Infatuation may be because of physical attraction, same thinking pattern or same aim. But infatuation does not go for long. As soon as we find a better person we again fall in infatuation.

“We rarely fall in love but we often fall in infatuation.” - Vanshika
